FiF, Jr: Week 14: Latching the Control Panel

Our project continues. The goal this week was to attach the latches that hold the control panel in place. Really shouldn’t be too difficult but we still hit a few hiccups. The latches themselves go on the cabinet, while the control panel has a couple brackets that the latches hook into. The tricky part is making sure once everything is attached that they’re close enough to connect…but far away enough from each other that it holds the panel snuggle and tightly to the frame. Otherwise, it’ll be slightly loose and move around. We had that problem once, and had to remove and reattach with a bit more distance. The second time was the charm and that panel isn’t going anywhere now.
